Jennifer has been working as a counsellor in private practice since 2011 and celebrated 10 years in March 2021. She has 38 years of work experience spanning the Civil Service, working within the Employment Service sector, Marketing & Publicity and the Advisory, Conciliation & Arbitration Service (ACAS). She has worked for the Council, within Teacher’s Personnel, Human Resources and Library services. Voluntary sector, working for Cruse Bereavement Service, Northorpe Hall Child & Family Trust and MIND amongst others.

With Jennifer’s past work experience and training, her areas of interest are natural and holistic healing for issues such as bereavement, grief and loss and work related matters, whilst encompassing other common issues clients may experience such as; depression, anxiety, self-esteem, relationship issues, illness, terminal illness, suicidal thoughts and many more presenting issues reflected in society, even more so, right now. Jennifer includes life and motivational coaching as a part of her counselling or as a stand alone approach; enhancing her way of working with clients which is often problem solving and goal orientated.  That said she offers open ended counselling for longer term work for those needing more time to work through matters.

Counselling sessions for some may be just one or two sessions, up to an average of six sessions or more, depending on the client’s individual needs. Single session or one session at a time counselling, is also an option.
